Premier provides a range of Modern Classic maple drums in various sizes. These will be cheaper than the Yamaha, but will not come with the same impact or sound that can be accomplished with a Yamaha snare. The 13 x 7 of this range are handmade in Leicester, England, so although not as environmental, they can be made and bought right here at home, adding a nice touch the British drummers kit.
